What happens to your email

Short version: I keep your email address so I can send you the check and the emails you asked for, and nothing else.

What I collect

Your email address, when you type it into the form on this site. That’s all the form asks for.

I also keep a few notes about your signup next to it: when you signed up, whether you’ve pressed Download yet, the day you did, which course emails have gone out, whether and when you unsubscribed, and a code that stops an older download link from starting the emails once you sign up again or leave. A small job runs once a day and sends whichever course email is due. It reads these notes first, so you never get the same email twice and nothing goes out after you unsubscribe.

If you sign up and never press Download, you get the email with the check and nothing else.

This site itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics. The typefaces are hosted here, so no font request goes anywhere else.

The signup form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. It looks at signals from your browser, not at your email address. Cloudflare’s policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Why

To send you the buried sentence check, the four short emails that follow it, and the occasional note when I publish something new from my study of manufacturer websites. I don’t sell or share your address, and I don’t add you to anything else.

Who handles it

The emails are sent through Resend, an email delivery service in the United States. Your address is stored in my Resend account, and Resend processes it only to deliver my emails. Their own policy is at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

The site itself runs on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs.

How to leave

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. It opens a page with one button, and pressing it takes you off the list. If your mail app shows its own Unsubscribe button, that works in one click. Nothing is queued up ahead of time, so nothing more goes out.

To have your address deleted entirely, or for any question about this, write to me at lee@leefuhr.com.
